Hours of Operation

Vehicles impounded at the direction of police agencies (RCMP or Municipal Police) are retrievable Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, during regular business hours.
 

We strongly encourage customers to call ahead or schedule an appointment to ensure paperwork is organized prior to pickup and to reduce wait times.
 

Required documentation for release includes:
 

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid vehicle insurance
 

Additional documentation may be required depending on the circumstances of the impound.
 

Private Impounds & By-Law Impounds

Vehicles impounded from private property or under municipal by-law authority are retrievable 7 days a week, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
 

We encourage customers to call ahead prior to arrival so staff can prepare documentation and minimize wait times during the release process.

Impound Release Disclaimer

Release hours and availability are subject to staff availability, operational requirements, and statutory holidays. Mitchell’s Towing reserves the right to refuse or delay vehicle release if required documentation, payment, or authorization is incomplete.
 

Valid Driver’s License, proof of ownership, and valid insurance are required for all vehicle releases. Additional authorization may be required for third-party pickups.
 

Storage, towing, administration, and applicable fees must be paid in full prior to release unless otherwise authorized by the directing agency, like ICBC.
 

For safety and security reasons, a maximum of one client is permitted per vehicle inside our facility or storage yard unless prior approval is granted by management. Customers are not permitted in storage areas unless accompanied by staff.
 

Mitchell’s Towing maintains a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive or unsafe behaviour toward staff. Service may be refused where safety concerns arise.
